Nara Rohit, nephew of TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu, entered the film industry in 2009 with ‘Banam’. The actor who claims that he will choose the films as per the audience’s taste is currently working for the romantic entertainer ‘Solo’. On the eve of his birthday on Monday, July 25, he spoke to the media on Sunday.

He said, “It is me who takes the final decision on choosing the scripts. My film ‘Banam’ was a social oriented film. But in the case of my 2nd film, I chose the script of ‘Solo’ which will connect me even with the common man. Every step that I take should be unique. Hence I decided to travel in the film industry with new stories. ‘Solo’ is one such film that has good emotions. My character in this film will reflect the youth today. I do not long for any kind of special image. I only see that the dances and fights are in the film based on the story only. My aim is to do films that remain in the audience’s minds forever. I love mythological films. My dream is to see myself as Dhuryodhana on the silver screen. I hope my dream will come true one day. Rajamouli, Puri Jagannath and Trivikram are my favourite directors. My next film is on action backdrop with a new director Vijaykrishna. This will begin in October.”
