Siva Bhavani Films has launched a film titled ‘Sri Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari Charitra’. Producer Kompalli Chandrasekhar is going to make this film with a new director Sripaada Ramachandra Rao. Alladi Shankar, Gurrapu Vijay Kumar and K R Padmini are the joint producer.

The film launch took place on Sunday at Ramanaidu Studios. Former Chief Minister K Roshaiah graced the event and tapped the clap board.

Later addressing the media K Roshaiah said, “Many films were made on the life history of Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari. But none of them have become successful as expected. But I appreciate Kompalli Chandrasekhar for making an attempt to make the film on the same subject. I wish him a grand success. There are many devotees for Kanyakaparameswari right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The Goddess was born in Penugonda in West Godavari district. I wish everyone will watch this film and make it a grand success.”
