Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt’s elder daughter Pooja Bhatt entered the film industry as heroine in 1989 with ‘Daddy’ (directed by Mahesh Bhatt) and shot to fame with the biggest musical hit, ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’ opposite Aamir Khan. She also won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for the film. Later Pooja Bhatt established herself as a heroine by delivering good number of superhit films. Now Mahesh Bhatt’s younger daughter Aliya Bhatt is making her debut as heroine with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’. Besides this she is also doing Abhinav Kashyap’s untitled film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Although this film was suppose to be Aliya’s debut film, due to unavailability of Ranbir’s call sheets, this movie got delayed. In the mean time ‘Student Of The Year’ went on the sets.
