75% of Potugadu is a Kannada remake – Manchu Manoj

Manchu Manoj’s ‘Potugadu’ is the remake of Kannada super hit movie ‘Govindaya Namaha’. According to Manoj, 75% of the film was Kannada remake. While two songs were taken as it is from the original version, music director Atchu is tuning four fresh tunes. Manoj has crooned the superhit song ‘Pyar Mein Padipoya’ which was released on the net recently. The song is very catchy with old classy tune and funny lyrics that have a mix of Hindi and Telugu words. ‘Potugadu’ is being helmed by Pawan Wadeyar, who has directed the original version previously. Manoj romances four heroines in this romantic comedy entertainer. Sakshi Chowdary is one of the heroines. Lagadapati Sridhar and Lagadapati Sirisha are producing ‘Potugadu’ under Ramalakshmi Creations banner. Manoj has just joined his dad Mohan Babu and brother Vishnu at Bangkok to work for the film under his home production. This movie is also the remake and is said to be the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘Golmaal 3’. Director Srivaas is handling this project.
