How did you get into films?

I’ve learned Kathak dance in my childhood. I did my schooling in Saint Theresa School and after that I did Btech in CBIT College. After that I went to US for acting course. I did acting course at New York Film Academy and there Devakatta garu selected me in the auditions for ‘Vennela’ film.

Your first film ‘Vennela’ received well by the audience, right!

I was introduced to the Telugu audience as Sayyad with my first film ‘Vennela. I got a break with my first film. With that recognition, I got series of good opportunities for the films like ‘Sainikudu’, ‘Rakhi’, ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Classmates’. I did one of the lead roles in ‘Nuvve’ and supporting character in ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Ready’. I did a good role in ‘Virodhi’. I also did good roles in ‘Nenokkaine’, ‘Ala Ela’, ‘Boochamma Boochodu’, ‘Weekend Love Story’ and ‘Tungabhadra’.

When asked “Is there anyone in the film industry who inspired you to become an actor?”

I love Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi’s dances. After watching ‘Sagara Sangamam’ and ‘Abhilasha’, I’ve decided to learn dance. Even now, they both are my inspiration.

We would like to hear from you about the audience’s response for the film ‘Calling Bell’.

I got good recognition with the film ‘Calling Bell’. It has given me immense happiness. I did lead role in the film and it is receiving good response from the audience. I’m thankful to the audience for making the film a big hit. So far I did positive and negative roles in over 26 films and each and every role which I’ve done are very different. Directors, producers and heroes are the reason behind my success.

Tell us little bit about your next coming up project?

Nara Rohith’s ‘Asura’, ‘Criminals’, PVP banner’s ‘Kshanam’ and a full length role in Srikanth’s film which is being directed by Sathish Kasetty of ‘Hope’ fame. I’m doing different roles in 7 to 8 films. At present, I’m playing important roles in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ and in Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Dochey’. I like to do roles which carries emotions though it is positive or negative role. While doing any film, I’ve learnt new things from heroes like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and NTR.
