As expected, the Telangana High Court has stalled the release of RGV's 'Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu', which is now renamed as 'Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu". The film is supposed to release tomorrow (29th November) but the court has stayed the release.
The court ordered the censor board to certify KRKR in a week's time after watching it and making sure that the issues in it are resolved. The court also asked the makers to change the casteist title officially and send it to censor.
RGV said that they have already changed the title and requested the court to order the CBFC to certify the film. KA Paul and some other political personalities have filed petitions against the film for portraying them in a controversial manner.
Earlier this year, Ram Gopal Varma's 'Lakshmi's NTR' also faced issues in the court. It was released only in Telangana before the Assembly elections and had a release in Andhra Pradesh later.
RGV has meanwhile released 'Dhandam' full video song from Kamma Rajyam lo Kadapa Reddlu.
