Actor Abhishek Bachchan has finally tested negative after contracting Covid-19 about a month ago (to be precise, on July 11). The junior Bachchan will be discharged from the famous Nanavati hospital in Mumbai days after his father, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, tested negative.
"A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!," the actor tweeted on Saturday.
With him, all the affected members of the Bachchan family are now negative. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan tested negative on July 27, about ten days after testing positive.
