'Bandish Bandits', the critically-acclaimed Amazon Prime original, is now streaming on Telugu and Tamil. Dubbed from Hindi, it stars Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry in the lead. Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, and Sheeba Chaddha are seen in pivotal roles.
The musical romantic drama, helmed by Anand Tiwari, is set in Jodhpur. Two young musicians are into Pop and Classical music. Its soundtracks, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, have been a hit.
Talking about the story, the makers say that 'Bandish Bandits' is about Radhe and Tamanna. If the former is a singing prodigy who is determined to follow in the classical footsteps of his grandfather, the latter is a rising pop sensation desperate to become India's first international pop star. "Radhe's world is turned upside down when he falls in love with Tamanna. Torn between helping her achieve superstardom and staying true to his own music and his family’s legacy, will he succeed in juggling both at the risk of losing everything he has?" the synopsis of the show says.
The Telugu and Tamil versions are streaming from today (December 16) exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
