Udaya Bhanu has taken up the Green India Challenge initiated by TRS MP Joginipally Santosh Kumar and planted three saplings at Jubilee Hills Park. The senior anchor has challenged Renu Desai, Brahmanandam and director Sampath Nandi to do the same.
Speaking about taking up the challenge, Udaya Bhanu has stressed the need to increase the green cover and how it will be beneficial to the world. She said that natural calamities and viruses like corona are taking a toll on us because humans are going against nature.
"I am a nature lover. So I've named my daughters Bhoomi and Aaradhya", added Udaya Bhanu. She praised Telangana CM KCR for his efforts to increase the green cover.
