Want to be known as an action hero: Young actor Abhay Simha

Abhay Simha, who recently debuted with Ravi Babu's 'Crrush', is doing 'Commitment' currently. Ahead of its release, the budding talent has interacted with the media.

Speaking to the press, the actor said that his father Satish has headlined movies such as 'Nellore Peddareddy'. "Taking inspiration from him, I have become a male lead. I got trained in dances and martial arts as well. When I came to know that Ravi Babu garu was taking auditions, I applied for a role in 'Crrush'. I feel fortunate that I got to act in the direction of such a person in my very first movie," Abhay Simha added, suggesting that Ravi Babu is one director who knows how to extract the best from his actors.

"After 'Crrush' released on OTT recently, I have got good recognition. Since it's a romantic entertainer, youngsters have watched it with enthusiasm. It was not embarrassing to do romantic scenes in front of the camera. When I started out as an actor, I told myself that I shouldn't be shy," Abhay Simha added.

He revealed that 'Commitment' is a group of different stories. "It's like an anthology. Besides action, I have also done emotional scenes. I like NTR's acting a lot. I want to become a mass actor like him. I am acting in three movies as a hero currently. 'Salim Akbar Anarkali' is one of them," he added.
