Alia Bhatt, who recently announced pregnancy, has waded into the Bollywood Vs. Southern industry debate. There is a perception that the Hindi film industry is delivering mega duds like 'Shamsehera' at a time when southern industry is producing hits like 'KGF' and 'RRR'.

Talking about the same, Alia Bhatt said that not all films from the southern industry click. "Even in the south industry, all their films have not worked. Some of the films have worked, and they are very good films. But similarly over here, starting with my film, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', have worked and done very well," the superstar actress told Indian Express.

Meanwhile, well-wishers of Bollywood are hoping that 'Laal Singh Chaddha' will become a Rs 300-Cr blockbuster, reviving the sagging fortunes of the industry. The Aamir Khan-starrer heads to theatres on August 11.
