"Snow White is charming. Zegler is endearing and strikes the right tone. The songs are engaging. It is a script that doesn't hurt your ears. And Gadot is a lip-smacking villain," Christian Toto wrote on X.
There are negative reviews as well. Cris Parker wrote that Snow White left her underwhelmed. "Zegler is outstanding and her vocal performance really elevated the old and new songs. I even found the dwarfs to be fun. Everything else is just aimless. There is no real plot. The villain is weak, and there are many underdeveloped characters. It’s decent just not memorable," she wrote.
Meanwhile, the film has spawned social commentaries in the US. "Snow White is telling a story that actually embodies what fairness means today: justice, courage, and the willingness to stand against tyranny. That’s a message worth telling, no matter how loudly some try to drown it out," Cosmic Rewing, a movie page, mentioned.
