'Liger' has been in the making for more than two years. The film, marking the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh, will head to theatres on August 25 this year.
Are the actor-director duo in for another project in the meanwhile? Yes, if the buzz in the industry is to be believed. A few media reports have said that the 'Pokiri' director has signed up the 'Arjun Reddy' actor for a film titled 'Jana Gana Mana'.
If everything goes well, the actioner will go on the floors in February or March. It will be made quickly if there are no pandemic-induced obstacles.
'Jana Gana Mana' was conceived by the 'Businessman' director 8-10 years ago. He announced it with Mahesh Babu as the hero in 2016. The plans crashed somehow. It seems the script was destined to be done by Vijay.
