Puri Jagannadh has alleged in a police complaint that he and his family members face a physical threat from Warangal Sreenu, the prominent distributor from Nizam territory.

In his written complaint, Puri stated that Sreenu has so far not honored a Film Distribution Agreement entered with him on April 12 this year. The agreement pertains to 'Liger'.

As per Puri, Sreenu has defaulted on payments to Puri Connects. He also defaulted on payments to sub-distributors, Puri alleges.

Puri then says that Sreenu has been provoking the sub-distributors to blackmail him. The director, who also produced 'Liger' on Puri Connects, suggests that he owes nothing to the sub-distributors.

Puri adds that he is currently staying in Mumbai. In his Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad, his mother, wife and daughter are living. Puri fears that Sreenu and financier G Sobhan Babu might resort to physical and mental harassment against them in his absence.
