Akkineni Nagarjuna is counting on the action sequences in 'The Ghost', which is heading to theatres on October 5. At an event held on Saturday, the 'Wild Dog' actor spoke of director Praveen Sattaru's vision.

Moments after the first visual, titled 'Killing Machine', was released, Nag said that the action is going to be amazing in the movie. "After a long time, I got trained for a movie in fights. I am really excited," Nag said, praising the production values ensured by Suniel Narang and Sharath Marrar.

Praveen Sattaru described Nag's action in the film as stylish. He also described it as an honour to work with the 'Shiva' actor. "I grew up watching him. There are 12 huge action scenes in the movie," the 'PSV Garuda Vega' maker said.

Producer Sharath Marrar said, "I am happy to have got to work with a hero like Nagarjuna garu. He has been fully supportive. The director and his team have got so much clarity. Despite the obstacles posed by the lockdown, we could pull it off. The output is amazing."

Producer P Ram Mohan Rao said, "Our movie is coming out in theatres on the same date as 'Shiva' (October 5)."

Answering questions posed by scribes, Nag said that 'The Ghost' has no similarities with 'Shiva'. He added that the title of the movie denotes the code name used by an Interpol agent. When asked about whether he has figured out the success formula, Nag said, "Nobody knows what the audience are going to watch, what they are not going to watch. The other day, while chatting with Rajamouli garu, he told me that we have to fully believe in our heart-felt product for the audience to believe in our cinema."
