Rana Daggubati defends Sai Pallavi's dominance

In the latest poster of 'Virata Parvam', Rana Daggubati is seen hugging Sai Pallavi. While the heroine's face is seen in full, the hero's face is not seen. This is viewed by some as an insult to Rana.

A Twitter user, tagging Rana, commented that Rana's stature has been lowered under his home production ('Virata Parvam' is co-produced by Suresh Productions). He opined that there is no point in blaming other banners if they bring down Rana's stature.

Replying to the user, Rana said that there is nothing wrong in allowing oneself to be subdued if that helps the story. "Manam taggi Kathani heroine nee evelvate chayadam lo kickeee veru brother….sontha banner kada….Great things ekkade cheyocchu," he wrote.

The story of the Venu Udugula directorial revolves around Sai Pallavi's Vennela. The film will hit the cinemas on June 17.
