Amitabh Bachchan fears flop, makes a request to audience

Amitabh Bachchan awaits the theatrical release of his Hindi film 'Uunchai' this Friday (November 11). Also starring Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta, it is the kind of film the audience would rather want to watch on OTT. So, the Bollywood Megastar has gone out of his way to urge the audience not to skip watching the adventure comedy-drama in theatres.

"The situation is very tough these days, no one is going to theatre. I join my hands and request you to buy tickets and watch our movie in theatres," the legendary actor has been quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

The KBC host even reminded the audience that cinema ticket rates have been brought down so that the audience are encouraged to visit theatres.

After a string of big flops in Bollywood this year, it's safe to assume that Big B fears a box-office disaster even if the content of his film is worthy.
