Puri Jagannadh's 'warning' to Liger distributors becomes a talking point

In an audio file wherein the voice heard is purportedly that of Puri Jagannadh, the director is reportedly heard expressing his displeasure over the allegedly problematic behavior of the distributors and exhibitors of 'Liger'.

The distributors have been waiting for Puri and Charmme to refund their monies ever since the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer became a flop. The disaster has left them with huge losses.

So far, there is no evidence that they have been compensated. In this context, the "leaked" audio file assumes significance.

The audio tape is a recording of Puri's phone call to an affected party. Puri shows frustration, accusing the distributors and exhibitors of trying to spoil his image in spite of his assurance that he will return monies. He also warns them that he will not refund them if they tarnish his goodwill.
