'Banaras', starring Zaid Khan and Sonal Monterio in lead roles, is helmed by Jayathirtha. Producer Tilakraj Ballal today unveiled a new song from the movie.
Titled 'Troll Song', the song makes fun of the troll culture in the digital era. "When the world has been busy with trolling, we came up with a song on trolling," the makers wrote, sounding unapologetic about the concept of the number.
Composer Ajaneesh Loknath ropes in the off-beat singer Jassie Gift, while Bhaskarabhatla does a good job at translating the lines.
The pan-India flick, marking the acting debut of the son of a 4-time MLA named Zameer Ahmed (from Karnataka), also features Sujay Shastry, Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Sapna Raj and Barakth Ali. Edited by KM Prakash and with action choreography by Jayathirtha and A Harsha, the film hits the cinemas on November 4.
