'Krishna Gadu Ante Oka Range', directed by Rajesh Dondapati, will be released in theatres on August 4. Produced by Sri Tejas Production, the film is headlined by newcomers Rishvi Thimmaraju and Vismaya Sri. Also featuring Raghu, Swathi Policherla, Sujatha, Vinay, and Mahadev, the film is based in a Guntur village. Sabu Varghese (music), Varikuppala Yadagiri (lyrics), and SK Rafi (cinematography) have worked on the movie.

Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhasker congratulated the film's core team and wished them all success.

TFCC secretary and producer KL Damodar Prasad said that good content ensures theatrical success these days. Besides content, a film should be viable cost-wise, he added. He opined that the chemistry between the lead pair in the film seems sparkling. Such chemistry is essential for rural love stories, he implied.

Producer Bekkam Venugopal said that the film's producer comes with lots of passion. "Even though I did not have any knowledge of cinema at the start of my career, I possessed passion. We learned everything here. 'Krishna Gadu...' is amazing. Its music is so good, so also its cinematography," he added.

Producer Petla Raghuram Murthy said that the film has been made over a period of two and a half years. A software engineer by professional, the US-based Raghuram wants to produce meaningful movies. "In 'Krishna Gadu..', we have shown the conflict that comes if even small joys are snatched away from a person's life. Rishvi is a mass hero," he added.

Director Rajesh Dondapati praised the guts of the film's producer.

Hero Rishvi Thimmaraju said that his maternal grandparents have encouraged him always, for they recognized his passion for acting. "Director Rajesh Dondapati is the hero of this movie. The heroine was very cooperative. Together, we have ensured onscreen magic," the new hero added.

Heroine Vismaya Sri extended her thanks to the director and the film's producers. She wondered if she will ever get to play the kind of well-rounded character that she got to play in the August 4th release.
