Happening Tollywood playback singer Mangli was on Sunday in Karnataka to entertain the crowds during the Bellary Utsav at Bellary’s Municipal College Ground. During the event, reportedly, the crowds demanded that she utter her lines in Kannada. Since she doesn't know the language, she spoke Telugu. Some media reports claimed that Mangli was attacked by irate crowds while she was leaving the venue in a car after the incident.

As per the singer of hits like 'Saranga Dariya' from 'Fidaa' and the recent 'Dandakadiyal' from 'Dhamaka', her vehicle was not attacked. She called out the "fake news" and added that she was treated with love and affection by the Kannada crowds.

In her social media post, Mangli thanked the organizers and officials who ensured that the event was awesome. "The news alleging an attack is completely wrong. The photos/videos from the event show that it was a grand success. I condemn the false propaganda that has been carried out to tarnish my image," Mangli added.
