An event named Rama Koti Utsavam was held today in Hyderabad to celebrate the BO success of 'Adipurush'. While Prabhas didn't make it to the small-scale event, People Media Factory (which is the presenter of the Telugu version) was represented by Vivek Kuchibotla.

Speaking on the occasion, Mythri Movie Makers' distributor Shashidhar Reddy said that the Prabhas-starrer has been released on more than 500 screens in Nizam. As per him, audience members below the age of 20 are enjoying the film without reservations, as they are not watching with a pre-set notion in mind. He revealed that the big-ticket movie minted Rs 13.65 Cr on the first day of its release. The feat was followed by Rs 8 Cr on the second day.

Lyricist Ramajogayya Shastri thanked UV Creations for giving him the opportunity to pen five songs and three short songs for the movie.

People Media Factory's Vivek Kuchibhotla said that, so far, one crore people have watched the movie across the world. He suggested that trolling is coming from a place of devotion for Rama. He described the collections as record-setting figures. "Today's children connect with Hollywood superheroes. But our mythological heroes like Jambavanthudu and Angadadu are not familiar to our children," he said, reasoning that the epic Ramayana has been given a super-hero touch for the same reason.
