Kannadigas say Ravi Teja 'insulted' KGF actor Yash

Ravi Teja is busy promoting 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. Recently, when he was in Mumbai for its trailer launch event, he was interviewed by a Mumbai-based media house. The interviewer asked him for his opinion about 'KGF' star Yash.

"I only saw his film 'KGF'. He is very lucky to have bagged that film. Seriously," the Mass Maharaja said. Earlier, he praised Ram Charan's dancing talent and Prabhas' screen presence. When he didn't talk about Yash's skills, it sounded as if the 'Dhamaka' star was saying that Yash has no talent except luck.

Ravi Teja's words have been misconstrued by many Kannadigas, who are lecturing him to admire Yash. "Yash is the son of a bus driver. Before 'KGF', he did a number of films in Kannada. That's not luck but hard work," fans of Yash are saying. "Ravi Tea was clearly talking about the kind of success 'KGF' brought Yash so early on in his career. Lucky only in that sense. All the actors who have worked with SS Rajamouli, we generally say they are lucky to have worked with him. Doesn’t mean those actors are looked down upon," wrote journalist Haricharan Pudipeddi.
