Mythri Movie Makers today said that 'Kushi' grossed Rs 51 Cr (worldwide) in two days. The film was released in theatres on Friday (September 1). The figure pertains to Friday and Saturday. On Day 3, the rom-com is doing pretty well, especially the afternoon shows.

Due to the India-Pakistan match on Saturday, the collections were a bit less than expected. Despite the competition presented by the cricket match, Vijay Deverakonda's film pulled in crowds to theatres in a big way in Nizam and Vizag.

In the US, the Shiva Nirvana directorial has already grossed one million dollars.

On Sunday, Vijay and his brother Anand Deverakonda were in Yadadri to pray at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. "My family has been blessed this year with lots of love and Kushi. Visited the most beautiful Yadadri temple to offer our gratitude with our families. When I was told of the powerful nature of the temple - I prayed for all of you. You all deserve utmost happiness and success! (sic)," wrote the 'Liger' actor on Twitter.

The buzz is that Kushi's blockbuster celebrations will be held on September 4 at Gurajada Kalakshetram in Vizag.

Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the heroine, 'Kushi' also features Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Vennela Kishore, and others.
