'AAY', which hit the cinemas the other day, is on its way to becoming a hit. On Saturday, producers Bunny Vasu and Vidya Koppineedi hosted its success meet in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, actor Narne Nithiin said, "This is my second hit (the first one being 'MAD'). I am glad and I thank my director Anji K Maniputhra. Ankith Koyya and Rajkumar Kasireddy have been appreciated for their performances. Actress Nayan Sarika is a non-Telugu girl but she looks like a girl from the Godavari region in the movie. This success is special because the audience have embraced our movie amid big releases at the box office. My bava (Jr NTR) has loved the movie."
Producer Bunny Vasu said, "The re-recording for 'AAY' was done in a room in my office. Ajay Arasada's hard work made it possible. I always knew that Rajkumar would become a noted comedian. Ankith is usually reticent and a man of few words. I had doubts about his suitability for a comedy role. He removed my doubts. As for director Anji, I hope his next project will be with me. Narne Nithiin is simple and down-to-earth. He is always grounded. He is going to reach new heights." Bunny Vasu said that the Telugu film industry is caste-neutral.
Director Anji said that the final 20 minutes of 'AAY' touch the right chord.
With music by Ram Miriyala, 'AAY' is co-produced by Bhanu Pratapa and Riyaz Chowdary.
