'AAY', a box-office hit released in August, is produced by GA2 Pictures and presented by Allu Aravind. Starring Narne Nithiin, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Nayan Sarika and Ankith Koyya, the film is arriving on OTT.
Netflix is going to stream the comedy-drama from September 12 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
"Oorlo edhavalu ante, andharu first anukunedhi veelane. Aay veelu friends andi," the streaming platform wrote, announcing the date.
What is the film about? Karthik (Narne Nithiin) lands in his village to work from home. Initially, he avoids his childhood friends Subbu and Hari because they have never mattered to him much. Karthik's unexpected love affair with Pallavi (Nayan Sarika), who is from another caste, forces Subbu and Hari to take a firm stand in his defence.
'AAY' has music by Ajay Arasada and Ram Miriyala. The cinematography is by Sameer Kalyani. The film is directed by newcomer Anjit K Mahaputhra.
