'Lucky Baskhar' has been postponed. It has now got a new release date. The film is going to hit the cinemas on October 31 for Diwali.
"Postponing releases can impact social media reputation, but it's essential for our film's quality! (sic)," the makers said today, announcing the new date.
Sithara Entertainments said that Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in one of his finest-ever performances in 'Lucky Baskhar'. "We are not compromising on the quality of dubbing in different languages. We want our film to sound and feel as authentically native as possible in all languages," the makers said about the pan-Indian movie's postponement.
Director Venky Atluri's movie will come out in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, the film is a period drama set in the 80s and 90s. Production designer Banglan erected a bank set resembling the ambience of the banks from the bygone era in Hyderabad. The story is set in Bombay (the old name of Mumbai).
So far, two songs have been released. 'Srimathi Gaaru' and the Title Track of 'Lucky Baskhar' are composed by GV Prakash Kumar. October 31 is the new release date of 'Lucky Baskhar'.
