'Devara': Mythri Movie Makers in?

NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts are said to be in talks with Mythri Movie Makers's distribution company to sell the theatrical release rights to their movie 'Devara' for the Telugu States. If true, the Y Ravi Shankar-Naveen Yerneni duo must be willing to shell out a bomb to acquire the rights to the Jr NTR-Koratala Siva movie. This Sankranthi, the distribution company has tasted superb profits by releasing 'HanuMan' in Nizam. They are buoyed at the great start.

'Devara' is a pan-Indian outing, which will be released in theatres on April 5. It was recently in the news over the release of its teaser.

Starring Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, the film's shoot will be wrapped up in February. The music is by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by Rathnavelu. Saif Ali Khan features as the antagonist. Sabu Cyril is its production designer. A Sreekar Prasad is editing the movie.

In a statement last October, the 'Acharya' director said, "We want the emotions and drama to be captured to their fullest. That's why we have decided to make the film in two parts." Yes, the film will be out in two parts. The April 5th release pertains to the first part.
