Sharwanand will now be called a Charming Star. People Media Factory's TG Vishwa Prasad mentioned the cognomen as an informal, friendly gesture during the pre-release event of 'Manamey' on Wednesday.
Usually, in common parlance, the word 'charming' is associated with attractiveness alone. But it has a wider meaning, denoting confidence, positive attitude, polite demeanour, appearing calm under pressure, etc. Sharwanand's onscreen and offscreen personas can be associated with some or all of the above traits. In films like 'Oke Oka Jeevitham', he indeed looked measured and charming. 'Shatamanam Bhavati' suited him because of his family-friendly charm.
'Manamey' is heading to theatres on June 7. Directed by Sriram Adittya and starring Krithi Shetty as the female lead, the musical family entertainer has music composed by 'Hi Nanna' fame Hesham Abdul Wahab.
