The success meet of 'KA' was held today in Hyderabad. Leading producer Dil Raju graced the occasion as a guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sujith, one of the directors, thanked Kiran Abbavaram for reposing faith in the "complex script". The other director, Sandeep, spoke of his non-film background. "Kiran gave us the chance to tell our story at a time when we were struggling to find the right path. This success is also a great encouragement for other filmmakers," he added.
Producer Dil Raju alluded to the tough race this Diwali. "It’s no small feat for 'KA' to stand tall amid the intense competition. Early successes like this are memories that stay with you forever. Kiran came into the industry without any background, but through his talent and dedication, he has made a name for himself," the producer of 'Game Changer' said.
Producer Bunny Vas said that 'KA' has an unpredictable climax. He described the film's screenplay as the best. "Nandipati Vamsi made a significant investment in the distribution, and though I was initially concerned, after watching the film, I realized his decision was spot on," the producer of 'Thandel' said.
Sundeep Kishan, another guest, said, "I have been following Kiran's career since the beginning, and it's inspiring to see him overcome challenges and deliver a blockbuster like this one. Despite facing negativity and setbacks, he persevered and achieved great success. The audience's growing appreciation for quality filmmaking is evident in the success of directors like Sujith and Sandeep. I hope they continue to create exceptional work and inspire the industry."
Distributor Vamsi Nandipati said that a success of this sort was long-awaited. He added that 'KA' has proven skeptics among his friends wrong. "If you believe in a good film, it rewards you manifold," he added. 'Polimera 2' and '2018', too, were referenced.
Actor Kiran Abbavaram said, "Before the release, many doubted KA's potential. Despite acknowledging its quality, few believed in its success. But the audience proved them wrong. Success and failure are part of the journey, and it's the journey that truly matters. We must support new directors and heroes, as their fortunes can change rapidly."
