Sai Durgha Tej cherishes Pawan Kalyan's thoughtful gift

There is a reason Sai Durgha Tej values his recent gift from Pawan Kalyan. The Deputy CM of AP gifted the 'Virupaksha' and 'Republic' actor certain artworks on the occasion of the latter completing ten years in the Telugu film industry.

Talking about the same, SDT mentioned that those are artworks refined by Savara artists. Brought from a Lepakshi showroom in Andhra Pradesh, their intricacies raise a toast to the skill of the Savara tribe, a community that inhabits the agency areas of North Andhra. "These artworks bring their culture and lifestyle onto canvas through beautiful paintings. All colors used are natural. Recently, some Savara artists have also started painting these figures on beautiful dolls and decorative items," the 'Chitralahari' actor wrote.

Pawan Kalyan's heart beats for Savara artists, whose numbers are on a gradual decline. "To preserve this art which has centuries of history, we need everyone's encouragement," Sai Durgha Tej says, adding that we must increasingly gift Savara paintings, Kondapalli, and Etikoppaka toys to our guests.

SDT18 is currently in the filming stage. Directed by Rohith KP, it stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Srikanth Meka, Sai Kumar, Jagapathi Babu and Ananya Nagalla in different roles.
