'Fear' shouldn't be missed in theaters: Makers @ Teaser event

Vedhika-starrer 'Fear', written, edited and directed by Dr. Haritha Gogineni, had its Teaser launched on Friday. Also featuring Arvind Krishna, the film has admittedly been very successful in the festival circuit, winning more than 60 awards at various international film festivals already. Jayaprakash, Pavithra Lokesh, Anish Kuruvilla, and Sayaji Shinde have pivotal roles. With music by Anup Rubens, 'Fear' also features Satya Krishna, Sahithi Dasari, and Shani. I Andrew is the Director of Photography.

Rana Daggubati, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep, Mollywood actor Dileep, and Emraan Hashmi unveiled the Teaser of the movie in different languages. The film's Teaser shows visuals of the female protagonist looking petrified due to unexpected, eerie circumstances encountered by her.

Speaking at the launch event, Inaya Sultana said that the Teaser looks genuinely scary. She hoped that 'Fear' will bag many more awards after its theatrical release. Actor Meka Ramakrishna, who has a meaty part in the thriller, described 'Fear' as a remarkable movie that deserves to be supported by the media.

Actress Sahithi Dasari lauded director Haritha's brilliance. "If the teaser gives you chills, just wait for the trailer—it will be even scarier," she added. Actor Anish Kuruvilla vouched for the talent of Haritha, exuding confidence that the audience will surely recognize her mettle once 'Fear' hits the cinemas. He also said that the script of her movie is so unique.

Music director Anup Rubens said that Haritha has nailed it despite being a debutante. He described Vedhika as a fantastic performer. Arvind Krishna also came in for praise.

The speakers said that, besides Vedhika's performance, 'Fear' will also be remembered for Haritha's scripting, Anup's music, and Andrew's visuals.

Director Dr. Haritha Gogineni said, "Our film has been feted with multiple awards at prestigious international film festivals. Each of those awards was genuinely earned by 'Fear'. I felt immense pride seeing India’s name on that list, more than all the awards our film has won."

Hero Arvind Krishna informed the audience that he had received a Best Supporting Actor Award at the Rome Film Festival for his performance in 'Fear'. "Vedhika's dedication is inspiring. Our director Haritha is incredibly committed," he added.

Heroine Vedhika said that the entire team has put in tremendous effort into the product. She lauded Haritha's meticulous planning and passion. "A suspense thriller like this requires a strong background score, and Anup delivered it effectively. Arvind Krishna's dedication and passion have truly impressed me," she added.
