Passionate producer Venu Donepudi of Chitralayam Studios is mounting Ramam: The Rise of Akira on a huge scale. On the auspicious Sri Rama Navami, he unveiled a Motion Poster of his pan-Indian movie that borrows heavily on the Lord Rama imagery.

Directed by Lokamanya, who has previously worked under several renowned names, Ramam has its root in Hindu historical beats. Themes like valour will be prominent in this one.

"A prominent Telugu star is going to featre in the movie," the makers said. Venu Donepudi said that the film's story will encompass noble themes. "Pre-production works are ongoing. We plan to commence the shoot soon. A rising star hero from Tollywood will headline the mvoie. The cast and crew will be drawn from across the country," he added.

In the motion poster, a warrior is seen riding a rearing horse, holding a flag aloft. A fiery, golden sky adds to the drama brought about by the clouds and the lightning. The jagged mountains make the landscape appear intense. Ramam: The Rise of Akira is presented by Chakrapani Donepudi.
