'Vishwambhara' first song: Poor creativity on display

Picturizing songs that blend devotional/mythological themes with the hero-intro genre of song-making is not easy at all. Bham Bham Bhole from Indra aced it with distinction. Composed by Mani Sharma, it was a masterpiece of a song about Indra Sena Reddy revelling in the greatness of Varanasi. Jai Jai Ganesha song from Jai Chiranjeeva was very good, although it can't be called a masterpiece.

The first song from Chiru's upcoming movie, unfortunately, is quite run of the mill. MM Keeravani's composition is barely original. Shankar Mahadevan's vocals lack the required freshness. The dance choreography is graceless. The moves seen in the lyrical video suggest that the Waltair Veerayya actor was deliberately given easy moves. Age is catching up with Chiru, but this should be no excuse when you have decided to craft your hero-centric song as a mass-appealing one.

The Teaser for 'Vishwambhara' last year came in for incessant, merciless attack from Netizens. Director Mallidi Vassishta and UV Creations have been questioned for putting the VFX of 'Adipurush' to shame. After the backlash, the movie's VFX has been reworked.

'Vishwambhara' has cinematography by Chota K Naidu. Its new release date is rumoured to be July 24, 2025.
