The trailer of 'Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi' is not bad. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram plays a feared rogue whose mother, played by Vijayashanti, is a revered IPS officer. The male lead's redemption arc and loads of gravity-defying fights can be expected in this April 18th release.
Director Pradeep Chilukuri's movie relies on two factors: a mother-son sentimental track and mass moments. The film's team has been iterating and reiterating that the climax is heart-touching. However, the gulf between what "heart-touching" means to filmmakers and the audience has been growing in Telugu cinema. This leaves us with the two Ms mentioned at the start of this paragraph.
Sohel Khan plays a dreaded goon whose characterization seems to be a bundle of cliches. Babloo Prithveeraj's character, too, seems to be routine. The action scenes have nothing much to rave about.
