TFCC advises members against engaging with striking Unions

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) has issued a stern directive to its members, advising them to refrain from any discussions or negotiations with unions that have initiated a unilateral strike. In a notice released by the TFCC's Honorary Secretary, members were instructed to hold off on any engagement with the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation and its constituent unions until further notice.

"Studios, Outdoor Units, and Infrastructure Unit members are strictly instructed not to provide any services without prior intimation and explicit approval from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce," the notice stated. This measure appears to be an attempt to centralize communication and maintain a united front in the face of the strike.

Producers and studio sector members have been asked to treat the matter with "utmost seriousness and strict compliance." This emphasizes the TFCC's position that individual actions could undermine a collective response to the ongoing labor dispute. The directive suggests that the TFCC is taking a firm stance and is prepared to manage the situation through a unified and coordinated effort.

Over the past few days, the industry-wide strike has caused problems in its wake. Production schedules have been disrupted. Producers like Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, Bunny Vas of GA2 Pictures, among others, commented on the strike.
