Producer Dil Raju's residential and official properties in Hyderabad were searched by the Income Tax Department for three days this week. On Saturday, the producer appeared before the media to speak about the searches.

Dil Raju said that the IT officials didn't find any issues with his books and accounts. "They were totally surprised. They had expected to find issues. But they were satisfied in the end," the producer said, suggesting that his big-ticket movie, Game Changer, was a focus for them.

Dil Raju repeatedly urged the media to refrain from gossip-mongering, saying that no seizures were made. Cash to the tune of around Rs 20 lakh, which is not a big deal for a major production house, were discovered by the officials.

The producer of blockbusters like Sankrantiki Vasthunam stated that the IT department gave him a clean chit, which stated that everything was in order. He reminded the media that this was the first search operation on his properties since 2008. "This is not extraordinary. Even other production houses like Mythri Movie Makers saw IT searches this week," Dil Raju said.
