Vrusshabha (alternatively spelt as Vrushabha) stars Complete Actor Mohanlal in the lead. Mohanlal is on a roll with two back-to-back, contrasting blockbusters. L2: Empuraan and Thudarum were massive hits in Malayalam.
On Wednesday, as Mohanlal turned a year older, the first look of the pan-Indian epic action entertainer was released. The film has been in the post-production phase. Sharing the poster, the legendary actor wrote, "This one is special — dedicating it to all my fans. The wait ends. The storm awakens. With pride and power, I unveil the first look of VRUSSHABHA – a tale that will ignite your soul and echo through time." He has deployed words like 'pride' and 'power' to underline the epic scale of his movie.
The film is helmed by Nanda Kishore. Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms are bringing out this grand-scale action movie that is laced with mythological elements and emotions. Interestingly, Vrusshabha was shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. Producers Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, CK Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta are counting big on this spectacle movie that requires large sets to be erected.
The film is scheduled to head to theatres on October 16.
Mohanlal will be seen in a special role in Manchu Vishnu's Kannappa. Currently, he is also acting in a family drama titled Hridayapoorvam.
