In a sudden announcement, UV Creations has put the theatrical release of Biker on hold. Days after releasing a teaser and a song (Pretty Baby), the film has been indefinitely postponed. It won't be hitting the cinemas on December 6.
This essentially makes Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 a solo box-office release in the first week of December.
Why has Biker been postponed? The reason for the delay, according to the production house, is to ensure the film is released in formats that match its massive scale and span, promising a cinematic experience beyond the ordinary. The film will be released in 3D, 4DX, and other advanced formats. "Trust us, this film is much more than the little laps we showed, and it is bigger than what Telugu Cinema has seen until now! We want to give you a product that races in your hearts, pumps up your adrenaline, and makes you breathless!" the statement continued.
