Manchu Manoj is once again making headlines, this time for his famed commitment to authentic and genuine action sequences. Stunt master Badri recently pulled back the curtain on the actor’s daredevil approach, revealing in a YouTube interview that the Bhairavam actor rarely uses a body double. This is something many in the industry and among the cinegoer community has always known.

"No matter how dangerous, he performs his own stunts," Badri said. Badri recounted a particularly harrowing incident from a recent shoot. He said, "Manoj stubbornly performed a dangerous action sequence where he jumped from a two-floor building, crashing through glass." The stunt master added that while today's productions have access to modern safety techniques and equipment, Manoj would often perform similar stunts in the past without safety ropes or even crash beds. In the 2000s, many media reports vouched for this. That's some dedication to his craft. Manoj is aware that audiences always appreciate real stunts.

Mirai is Manoj's next theatrical release. This potential turning point of a movie in his filmography stars Teja Sajja in the lead and will head to theatres on September 12. It's directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The Black Sword is his character's name in Mirai.
