Akkineni Nagarjuna has secured a legal victory in the Delhi High Court, which ruled to protect his personality rights against the unauthorized use of his name and likeness. The Kuberaa actor recently approached the court to put a stop to various forms of misuse of his identity, including the creation of AI videos, paid promotions, and the unauthorized use of hashtags. More alarmingly, the petition sought to block the creation of pornography websites and links that were exploiting his name and photo.
Nagarjuna's lawyer specifically requested the court to order the removal of links for 14 websites found to be misusing the actor's identity.
Nagarjuna was recently seen in Coolie. He recently revealed that his 100th movie will be helmed by Ra Karthik, a less-known Tamil filmmaker who has previously directed a Tamil movie. While the choice of the director is unexpected, the genre is not. It is going to be an action drama made on a big scale. Nag's film is likely to see a big release in Tamil as well. The timeline for this untitled movie is not official as yet.
