After that snapped up immediately making his debut in 2009 'Ninnu Kalisaka', followed by few other popular films like 'Sneha Geetham', 'Rowthiram', 'Ala Modalaindi', 'Kaalicharan', etc. His natural talent and charm earned him yet another interesting project 'Chandamama Kathalu', directed by Praveen Sattaru, in which he played a school kid. As the film is getting ready for release soon, Ragalahari caught up with the actor for a small chit-chat. Check it out!

How do you define your role in 'Chandamama Kathalu'?
I play a 19 year old kid who's studying Intermediate. My role primary encompasses the emotions that a kid goes through in a teenage love story.

How was it working with your co-stars?
I am paired opposite Shamili, who is a model based out of Hyderabad. She is a very co-operative co-star. The fact that she is working on four films even before the release of 'Chandamama Kathalu' speaks a lot about her talent. Since we shot most of our screens in the college, it took me back to my college days. Beautiful memories indeed!

Any funny and interesting incidents on the set?

Not sure about funny incidents, but every day in the shoot is exciting, because you get to play the 19 year old kid which I've never done before. And wearing a school uniform is such a refreshing thing, that it takes you back into your past.

Yes, this is the first of its kind in Telugu cinema that has eight different stories in one single film. The fact that it attracted Rajamouli and Anil Sunkara tells about the craze it generated. Yes, 'Chandamama Kathalu' is here to stay and I'm proud to be part of this trendsetter.

Tell us about your experience working with Praveen Sattaru?
The biggest learning and the take away from Praveen sir is his planning and approach to film-making. His care in executing the project to marketing of the film justifies the emotional energies of every one involved in team. He is definitely an "Actor's Director".

What kind of onscreen characters would you like to play in future?
Anything that challenges the actor in me. Anything that strangles me with excitement to perform and bring that role alive on screen.

Any dream role?
Will Smith in "Pursuit Of Happiness", Faran Akthar in "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" and Hrithik Roshan in "Agneepath". I know that it's bit too ambitious, but I would love to portray these roles onscreen.
