Avasarala Srinivas Interview On ‘Babu Baga Busy’

Well, the curiosity on ‘Babu Baga Busy’ is surely mounting to the top since one year. ‘Babu Baga Busy’, the official remake of Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’, is loaded with full dose of comedy. The film that features Avasarala Srinivas, Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Isola and Srimukhi, is being produced by Abhishek Nama on Abhishek Pictures banner. Naveen Medaram is making his debut as director through this adult comedy film. So, wait for the movie to hit the screens on 5th May, 2017. An interview was taken with Avasarala Srinivas as his latest film ‘Babu Baga Busy’ is releasing on May 5th. Read on to know what he has said about his upcoming release.

Can you briefly tell us what ‘Babu Baga Busy’ is about?
Naveen Medaram has directed the film. Earlier, he worked for Hollywood films. When he visited India for VFX, he developed friendship with Abhishek Pictures. Abhishek Pictures decided to remake Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’ and approached Naveen Medaram and he too was very impressed and accepted to direct this film. The film has been made with good emotions without compromising the tricky line.

Tell us about your role in the film?
My role in ‘Babu Baga Busy’ will be totally different and fresh which I have not touched so far in my career. Actually, I am eagerly waiting to see how audience will receive my new avatar in this film.

What was your reaction when producers approached you to act in this?
I have not seen the Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’ before I accepted to act in this remake. When producers asked me to watch the film, I started watching. While watching the first half an hour to 45 min duration, I have decided not to act in this. But in the second half I was very impressed by the scenes and emotions between friends and accepted to act in this. But I was hesitant to take the task as all my earlier films are different and this is totally another side. I feel that my decision is correct.

Didn’t you feel discomfort when doing intimacy scenes?
I was asked by many people that how I handle myself did in intimacy scenes. Before entering into films, I did many plays. In those I did many intimacy scenes. While doing such scenes, the atmosphere around the sets is important. Director, cameraman, art department and co-actors should create comfort. As the film’s crew are professionals, I have not felt discomfort while doing intimacy scenes.

Is the film according to the Telugu nativity?
We have taken the main crux of the Hindi film ‘Hunterr’. However made few changes according to the Telugu nativity.

Tell us about your family member’s reaction after knowing you are doing ‘Hunterrr’ remake?
No one in our family discusses about films. They don’t know about ‘Ashta Chamma’ until I said. My father praised me after watching ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’. All my friends responded positively when they learnt that I am doing ‘Hunterrr’ remake.

The actor confessed, “Our film was made with limited budget. We believe audience will encourage us by making the film a big success. Actually, ‘Babu Baga Busy’ was supposed to be released before ‘Baahubali 2’, but the release date has been postponed for one week because of ‘Baahubali 2’.

Will you share about which scenes you felt uncomfortable?
The film has four professional heroines. Each and every character in the film has equal importance. Each and every character will elevate my character. There are no such scenes which I felt uncomfortable.

How much you involved in script development?
I was called two timed during the script reading. I just suggested few developments, but I didn’t involve after locking the script once.

Tell us about music in the film?
Sunil Kashyap stupendous music. Background score is superb than tunes. I am very happy with the output of music.

What are your next projects?
‘Ami Tumi’ is ready for release. I am playing a nice role in the film ‘Selfie’. I am working for Sirish and Anand’s film. A story under my direction has got green signal. It’s a thriller concept. Screenplay is getting ready. I will soon announce the rest of the details about the film.
