Excerpts:

2020 ended for me on a very good note, as 'Solo Brathuke So Better' was released on December 25. For Sankranthi, 'Alludu Adhurs' is coming out. It's the right movie for a festival.

In 'iSmart Shankar', I played a mass Telangana girl. 'SBSB' had me in a soft role. 'Alludu Adhurs' is, again, distinct. It's the kind of film I always wanted to do. It's a proper commercial outing. I am a swimmer in this movie. I didn't know how to swim and I had to learn it for this role. The film has got a lot of underwater shots.

I am fortunate that I have been getting strong roles that are important to the respective movies. I am grateful for this reason and I am very satisfied.

In Dubai, I happened to fall down in the washroom during the making of the movie. I had to undergo surgery, for which I took a break for 3 weeks.

I have got a surprising role in 'Alludu Adhurs'. Sai (hero) is a very easy person. He is a very hard-working person who inspires others to do better. His character is energetic in the movie. He can do complicated steps without much of a rehearsal. The film has got a huge cast.

I have got three songs in the movie out of four. 'Hola Chica', 'Nadhila Nadhila' (which was shot in Kashmir) and the title track. The last of these is my favourite song because I got to dance to it.

I am greedy for distinct characters. I have a few things lined up in Tamil. They should have happened last year but because of the pandemic, things have got delayed. I am doing the Telugu remake of 'Andhadhun' with Nithiin. This is the first remake of mine. I was scared initially because it's a huge film. But once I was on set, director Merlapaka Gandhi made me feel comfortable.
