Chandrabose has penned all five songs in 'Pushpa'. Catch him talk about the film, working with director Sukumar, why 'Pushpa' was a tough job, and more. The film will be released in theatres on December 17.

Sukumar garu is a poet himself. He has written poems. That's why it's a pleasure to work with him. And the lyricist has to catch up with his vision to satisfy him. After 'Rangasthalam', our reunion for 'Pushpa' felt special. For 'Rangasthalam', I didn't jot down lyrics on paper. I just recorded the lines. It was the best experience in my career. I thank Ram Charan garu, Mythri Movie Makers and my director for the opportunity.

Coming to 'Pushpa', the very context is novel. Gurram Jashuva wrote poetry on a crematorium and a 'gabbilam'. This is all 'jeevana sangeetham'. Pushpa Raj has a certain context. I wrote the lines in the song 'Dakko Dakko Meka' keeping his outlook in mind.

I, Sukumar garu and Devi Sri Prasad garu are good friends. So, when we collaborate to create something, we indulge in casual conversations. 'Rangasthalam' was relatively easy. But 'Pushpa' was definitely a difficult project in comparison.

'Srivalli' is about a man who is pining to talk with his crush. 'Paluke bangaramayena' was changed to 'choope'. We then came out with the name Srivalli. 'Ey Bidda' song had the stanzas written first.

I have listened to the feedback given by many listeners. They have digested the lyrics of 'Pushpa' despite being very young.

Of the five songs from 'Pushpa', four songs are out. The last one, to be released soon, is an item song shot on Allu Arjun garu and Samantha. The lyrics are about a social topic told lyrically. It's not a regular item song.

Allu Arjun garu and Sukumar garu have made the film an authentic one with Chittoor slang being genuine. Their dedication made me push myself to write better songs.
