Crowd frenzy at Patna college makes Vijay Deverakonda leave venue

Vijay Deverakonda was in Bihar's Patna on Saturday to promote 'Liger'. Already, visuals of the actor visiting a street-side chai stall have become viral. The name of the stall Graduate Chaiwali has also been widely mentioned in media reports, thanks to the 'Arjun Reddy' actor's gesture.

The 'Geetha Govindam' star was scheduled to address a large gathering of enthusiastic students at a college in the city. However, the event had to be suspended midway because the footfalls exceeded the holding capacity of the auditorium.

In a video clip doing the rounds on the Internet, a college student is seen talking excitedly about the buzz around Deverakonda and 'Liger', which heads to theatres on Aug 25.

The frenzy reached a feverish high and the 'Taxiwala' actor had no choice but to leave the venue.

A similar incident happened in Mumbai a few days earlier. A mall witnessed hundreds turning up to listen to Deverakonda. The crowd was uncontrollable.
