'Ugram' Trailer: This missing persons investigative thriller is action-driven!

Allari Naresh's aim in 'Ugram' is sorted. Thousands of commoners go missing every year. What happens to them? Why are their whereabouts a secret? Can the human trafficking mafia be eliminated once and for all? 'Ugram', to be released in theatres on May 5, taps into these questions and answers them through Naresh's cop character.

The hero's mission is also personal, since his wife (Mirnaa) and daughter, too, have gone missing. The lead man's character arc seems to be well-established. Naresh has done the most action-heavy role of his career, as the trailer is packed with action blocks half the time. The other half has the hero's character elevated and the drama established in different ways. "Re-invent done. Watch me in my most ferocious avatar," the actor tweeted.

Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala of 'Naandhi' fame, the film has its story written by Toom Venkat, while Abburi Ravi is its dialogue writer. Sricharan Pakala and Sid are into music and cinematography, respectively.
