'Rebels Of Thupakulagudem' is all set to be released in theatres on February 3. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Touted to be an untold story from the jungles of Telangana, the film is about a gigantic scam pulled off by a few characters. We see Maoists embarking on an adventurous journey in the forests in the film's recently-released trailer.

Starring Praveen Kandela, Shivram Reddy, Shrikant Rathod, Jaiyetri Makana, Vamsi Vutukuru, Sharath Barigela, Vineeth Kumar, and Vijay Macha, the film is written by Santosh Murarikar (also the film's co-director), the semi-comedy drama is edited and directed by Jaideep Vishnu.

Vaaradhi Creations Pvt Ltd roped in Mani Sharma to compose the music. His work, the makers believe, will be appreciated widely. Sreekanth Arpula (cinematography) and others are on board. Kasarla Shyam has penned the lyrics. Nagarjuna Thallapalli and Sai Maneendhar Reddy have done the sound design.

The makers are confident that the film is going to leave the audience with an emotional experience. Mani Sharma himself is convinced of the strong content that seems to be at the root of the story.

While the Indian release is scheduled for Friday, the US release is going to happen a day earlier, that is, on February 2.
