IT searches on the premises of Tollywood producer: Reports

Ahead of the theatrical release of Ravi Teja's 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' on October 20, producer Abhishek Agarwal today was in for alleged IT searches on the premises of his production house in Hyderabad.

At the time of writing, no official info about the so-called raids came about.

Agarwal, who has previously produced the huge money-spinner 'The Kashmir Files', is a supporter of the Narendra Modi government. Although he is not directly associated with the BJP, it is widely believed that he has, in the past, extended financial support to the party. Agarwal is ideologically inclined toward Hindutva.

The Ravi Teja-starrer, Agarwal's immediate next, is one of his most expensive films. He is expecting 'TNR', directed by Vamsee, to become a hit in Hindi.

Nikhil Siddhartha's 'The India House', Adivi Sesh's 'G2' and 'The Delhi Files' are among the producer's other upcoming movies.
