Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' is Nag Ashwin's magnum opus of sorts. The film will hit the cinemas on May 9 this year without fail. There is no postponement.

Dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra of 'RRR' and 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' fame has said that 'Kalki 2898 AD' is a first-of-its-kind outing in the history of Indian cinema, adding that the film’s genre itself has never been experienced before by the Indian audience.

He added that 'Kalki 2898 AD', thanks to its story beats and plotting, will feel like a Hollywood movie from the word go.

The film's Teaser is being readied by Vyjayanthi Movies and the 'Mahanati' director, Nag Ashwin. Its running time is one minute 23 seconds. The precise date of its release is yet to be announced. By the end of March, the makers will reveal something about the film's trailer.
